Inclusion and Accessibility Project at the AME/JF Premises
ACSE/AME/JF
A warm welcome to everyone attending the activities at AME/JF!
When we say everyone, we truly mean every brother and sister, regardless of age or physical condition.
The Law of Equality reminds us that we are all Spirits striving toward the same goal of progress, equally deserving of the same opportunities.
We know that the beauty of Creation lies in its diversity. As intelligent beings within that Creation, it is through our many forms of interaction that we awaken and develop the potential within each of us.
With great joy, we are pleased to announce that our new elevator is now fully operational. More than an engineering achievement, it symbolizes technology placed at the service of goodness, bringing together science and love for one’s neighbor.
Modern, comfortable, and welcoming, it was designed so that physical barriers will never become barriers for the Spirit seeking to draw closer to Spiritism and to the vibrant Spiritist Movement in our city.
And for those who may feel uneasy about elevators, rest assured: the system installed at the facilities of the Municipal Spiritist Alliance of Juiz de Fora includes an emergency safety feature. In the event of a power outage, the elevator automatically travels to the nearest floor and opens its doors safely.
The greatest achievement of this project is the opportunity it creates to strengthen fellowship and make our activities accessible to everyone who wishes to visit us and study with us.
As the Law of Society, presented in The Spirits’ Book, teaches us, human beings were created to live in society, and only through social life can they truly progress. Now we are able to welcome even more people to share in our moments of study, fellowship, and spiritual growth. It is an opportunity to strengthen bonds with friends of every generation and, above all, to welcome back those who, because of temporary or permanent physical limitations, had been unable to attend our activities. Their absence has been deeply felt, and their return enriches and completes our spiritual family.
The realization of this long-awaited accessibility project is a living expression of charity in action. It became possible through the generous contributions of volunteers from the Spiritist centers affiliated with AME/JF, together with many other friends who embraced the noble cause of accessibility and inclusion.
Every donation planted a seed of solidarity that has now blossomed into greater equity and opportunity.
Although this important milestone has been reached, several stages of the project still remain. To help complete them, AME/JF hosts a monthly fellowship luncheon on the second Sunday of every month, from 12:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., at Instituto Jesus.
We warmly invite you to join us! Together, we can continue building the spirit of love that now reaches every floor of our building.
May our Master Jesus, the model and guide of humanity, bless everyone who enters the doors of our beloved institution.
Our doors—and now every floor—are open to all.
