Dear reader,
With each issue of the magazine, we consider the common thread that connects the articles submitted by our contributors. In September and October, it is impossible not to refer to the theme of valuing life. Upon reading and rereading the articles, this illumination that brings life in abundance became clear.
In the Auto-da-fé of Barcelona, what could have been just a sad spectacle showed that the flames that sought to extinguish an idea ended up illuminating it. The physical fire warmed minds and hearts, inviting beings to transform themselves through the knowledge of liberating truth, confirming the power of Spiritism. This power does not need to be expressed in census numbers, since its essence lies in forming good people who act in the world with moral rectitude.
We also see this in Peter, the apostle, when he was asked if he knew Jesus. He could not answer with words, but he became a light when, through the courage to face himself, he revived his faith and set out on a steady path. His life shows us that spiritual evolution is made up of falls, yes, but above all of recoveries.
Spiritism provides us with tools so that when falls, stumbles, and difficulties come, we can use them as lights on our paths and continue our journey toward better days.
Let us be workers of light. And may the flame that burns in our hearts today be that of enlightenment, of reasoned faith, and of the peace that comes from goodness.
Enjoy your reading!
