Rethinking our paths and constantly evaluating ourselves is essential for new attitudes to become part of our reality.

In question 919-a of The Spirits’ Book, St. Augustine invites us to revisit the day we lived and evaluate our actions and results, building within ourselves a roadmap for uninterrupted improvement, because only with knowledge of our innermost motivations will we have the necessary parameters for the upward path we need to tread.

The work of searching for oneself is challenging and the effort to achieve change is great, but if we want to overcome our evil tendencies, we need to begin this responsible and incessant search, regardless of chronological time, keeping the good will to build the new man burning.
